Share your experience
You do not need to be an experienced writer.
Some of the most useful information within the pigeon community comes directly from fanciers who have spent years learning through experience. If you have a method, story, opinion or piece of knowledge that other pigeon enthusiasts may find useful, we would like to give you a place to share it.
Clubs and organisations are also welcome to submit news, reports, historical material and information about their activities.
Article guidelines
Please submit work that you have written yourself and have permission to publish.
Where possible, articles should be original and not copied from another website, publication or social media page. This is also consistent with submission policies used by other pigeon publications and websites.
You are welcome to include photographs with your article. Please only send photographs that you own or have permission to use.
For race reports, loft profiles or articles about individual pigeons, photographs can make the finished article much more useful to readers. Some pigeon publications also request supporting photographs, pedigrees or race evidence for performance-related submissions.
Boglin Marsh may edit submitted articles for spelling, grammar, formatting and readability while keeping the meaning of the contribution intact.
Submission does not automatically guarantee publication. We may decline content that is unsuitable for the site, promotional without useful editorial content, copied from another source or unrelated to pigeons. This type of editorial review is also used by other pigeon publications accepting reader submissions.
Author credit
Published articles can include your name, or the Author's name if different from your own, and a short author biography.
If you represent a pigeon club, federation, organisation or business, you can also include its name. Where appropriate, we can include a link to your website or your Boglin Marsh directory listing.
Contributors who have a Boglin Marsh listing could have their author name linked to that listing.
